First ESR to join the MORE network

The first Early Stage Researcher (ESR)has started work on MORE. David Fassbender is currently hosted at Tampere University in Finland and is the first of a total of eight ESRs who will work on the MORE project working towards developing the next generation of heavy duty mobile (HDM) machinery.

MORE is the first industry-academia network to jointly educate ESRs on HDM machinery and each ESR will spend nine months in academia before moving to one of our five industry beneficiaries, in David’s case this will be Bosch Rexroth AG in Germany.

David has a background in mechanical engineering and his research project in MORE focuses on Novel energy-efficient powertrain architecture for implements and optimized power management. We wish David a great start to his project and look forward to finding out more about his research and results.

MORE Kick Off Meeting
